	1 LIGHTING DESIGN		DISEÑO DE ILUMINACIÓN ARQUITECTÓNICA
	Our Lighting Design projects are both creative and innovative, achieving the beauty of light over the built environment. Our approach is to achieve an optimal visual performance of artificial and natural lighting as well. We work with concepts of energy saving, easy maintenance, long equipment life and latest technology. Los proyectos de iluminación arquitectónica involucran estudios para un desempeño visual óptima de iluminación diurna y nocturna. GENERAL FUNCTIONAL LIGHTING DISEÑO DE ILUMINACIÓN ARQUITECTÓNICA

We work with the greatest standard of quality on functional lighting, meeting the highest internacional standards. Our client obtains the best visual comfort and therefore increased productivity in the work environment, performed under artificial lighting. For this we perform detailed lighting calculation with software such as Dialux, supported with equipment field test. The technical proposal is accomplished with defined positions of each equipment, power chart requirements, loads summaries, cost analysis and detailed drawings. We work with lighting control equipment such as LUTRON and DMX, allowing easy control and significant energy savings in both electricity and air conditioning. We carefully study natural lighting performance, allowing design for solar control and dazzle control. Also our team design control systems of natural lighting in the case of excess light to avoid overheating by radiation (IR) to deliver maximum thermal comfort.		Trabajamos con el más alto estándar de calidad en la iluminación funcional, cumpliendo con las normas internacionales más exigentes, para que el cliente obtenga el mejor confort visual y aumente su productividad en las tareas que desempeña bajo iluminación artificial. Para ello empleamos softwares de cálculo de iluminación como Dialux, realizamos pruebas en terreno y usamos los equipos específicos para cada requerimiento. Desarrollamos la propuesta técnica con definición y posición de equipos, tabla de potencias y requerimientos, análisis del costo inicial y propuesta de detalles. Trabajamos con equipamiento de control de iluminación tales como LUTRON y DMX, permitiendo grandes ahorros de energía tanto en electricidad como en climatización. Estudiamos el rendimiento para la iluminación natural y la coordinación con los especialistas para el control solar, encandilamiento y sobreiluminación. Diseñamos sistemas de control de iluminación natural en el caso de exceso de luz directa para evitar encandilamientos, sobrecalentamiento por radiación (IR) y así entregar máximo confort interior.

DECORATIVE LIGHTING DISEÑO DE ILUMINACIÓN ARQUITECTÓNICA

Our aims is to assess the architecture project's in the design of facade lighting, enhance corporate image and transform a building in an urban landmark setting. We coordinated work in the definition of the requirements of lighting along with the architect and the client from the brief of the project. We proposed night views through digital images and representations of proposed lighting, lighting levels, light and color tones. We carefully look out the parameters sets by the lighting standard to avoid light pollution in the nearby areas ob the projects. Ours projects can be programmed for various decorative night lighting scenes.		Tiene como objetivo valorar la arquitectura del proyecto en el diseño de iluminación de fachada, reforzar imagen corporativa y transformar una construcción en un hito urbano. Trabajamos coordinadamente en la definición de los requerimientos de iluminación junto con el arquitecto y el cliente desde el inicio del proyecto. Realizamos propuestas nocturnas a través de imágenes y representaciones digitales con propuesta de luminarias, niveles de iluminación, tonos y color de luz. Cuidamos los parámetros de iluminación establecidos por la norma evitando la contaminación lumínica. Realizamos proyectos con programación para distintas escenas nocturnas de iluminación decorativa.

SECURITY LIGHTING DISEÑO DE ILUMINACIÓN ARQUITECTÓNICA

We prepare projects for emergency and security lighting with new national and/or international standards according to requirements of the project.		Elaboramos proyectos de iluminación de emergencia y seguridad, según nueva normativa nacional o normativas internacionales de acuerdo a requerimientos del proyecto.

LIGHTING ASSESMENT FOR REAL BUILDINGS DISEÑO DE ILUMINACIÓN ARQUITECTÓNICA

Assessments in existing buildings that evaluate visual comfort, performance and lighting energy demand, both for artificial and natural lighting. We propose solutions for energy efficiency in electricity consumption. We evaluated lighting equipment and fixture performance in order to establish standards and reduce maintenance by replacement. This allows us to optimize the costs associated with lighting, their maintenance, as well as energy demand for air conditioning.		Realizamos evaluaciones en edificios existentes que determinan el confort visual, el rendimiento lumínico y la demanda de energía, tanto para la iluminación artificial como la iluminación natural. Proponemos soluciones para Eficiencia Energética en el consumo eléctrico, a la vez que evaluamos el equipamiento de luminarias con el fin de establecer estándares y disminuir la reposición por mantenimiento. Esto permite optimizar costos relacionados con la iluminación, su mantención y a la vez la demanda de energía por climatización.

	Our architectural design is compromised with the environment, quality and environmental comfort for the inhabitant and economical profit for the client. With a strictly analysis of climate data, location, function and construction variables, we design strategies which allow us to achieve architectural projects according the environment and sustainable goals.		Abordamos el diseño arquitectónico con el compromiso y cuidado del medio ambiente, calidad y confort ambiental para el usuario y beneficio económico para el cliente. Mediante el riguroso análisis de variables climáticas, de emplazamiento y locación, también de tipo constructivas y funcionales, se elaboran estrategias que permiten diseñar en forma adecuada proyectos arquitectónicos sostenibles y respetuosos del medioambiente.

SUSTAINABLE ARCHITECTURAL DESIGN ARQUITECTURA VERDE

With a integral design method, we include all the technical issues and services involve on the project, to grant the highest environmental comfort and low energy architecture. We work from the beginning with our architectural design team in a creative manner, contributing to solve all the technicals aspect related to energy and environmental comfort within the project. We establish with the client the goals to achieve on interior environment , energy demand, quality and performance of active and passive systems of renewable energy, integrating all at the very beginning of architectural design process.

Se abordan de manera integral todas las especialidades técnicas que involucre el proyecto, para garantizar el mas alto confort ambiental y óptimo ahorro de energía. Trabajamos desde un inicio con el equipo de diseño arquitectónico, aportando en forma creativa, estrategias y soluciones técnicas en todos los ámbitos relacionados con la energía y confort ambiental. Establecemos con el mandante las metas de optimización del ambiente interior, de demanda de energía y calidad de la prestación de los sistemas activos y pasivos de energías renovables, integrándose todas estas variables al inicio de la etapa de diseño arquitectónico.

ASSESSMENT IN ENERGY EFFICIENCY ARQUITECTURA VERDE

2.1 Assessment For Architectural Projects And Energy Performance

Our team is compromised with the design of strategies to achieve goals on environmental sustainability and high habitability quality of architectural projects. Energy performance analysis and renewable energy integration to architectural projects. Visual comfort by natural and artificial light. Dynamic energy calculations to support the design process with simulation and analysis software. We use Ecotect, TAS and CCTE 2.0 which is the official certification software for the Chilean Housing Ministry. This allow us to analyze the design performance and evaluate the strategies effectiveness proposed, and optimized and correct it.

2.2 Energy Optimization For Existing Buildings

Study and analysis of existing buildings with habitability problems, bad energy performance and and material and envelope damage. In this area we propose:

� Solar study and design for facade solar control, roof and exterior areas to determine overheating and natural illumination problems.

� Study of problems aroused on the building envelope such as condensation, infiltration of air and water.

� Habitability and environmental comfort study, establishing use habits and user decease related to poor indoor air quality , contamination for volatile organic component (VOC), sound problems among others.

� Visual comfort study using natural and artificial lighting, focusing on glare problems, contrast, bad artificial lighting etc.

2.1 Asesoría a Proyectos de Arquitectura y Cálculo Desempeño Energético

Diseño de estrategias para alcanzar metas de sostenibilidad ambiental y alta calidad en la habitabilidad en proyectos arquitectónicos. Evaluación en desempeño energético e integración de energías renovables al proyecto arquitectónico. Evaluación del confort visual por iluminación natural y artificial. Cálculo Energético Dinámico para el apoyo del proceso de diseño con software de análisis y de simulación. Usamos Ecotect, TAS, CCTE 2.0 (software de cumplimiento de la Reglamentación Térmica del MINVU). Ello nos permite analizar el desempeño del diseño y evaluar la efectividad de las estrategias propuestas para corregirlas y optimizarlas.

2.2 Evaluación y Optimización Energética Edificios Existentes

Estudio y análisis de edificios existentes con problemas de habitabilidad , mal desempeño energético y deterioro de su materialidad. En esta área proponemos:

� Estudio y diseño de Control solar para fachadas, cubiertas y áreas exteriores.

� Estudio de Patologías por mala envolvente como condensaciones, infiltraciones de aire y agua.

� Estudio de confort y habitabilidad ambiental, determinando hábitos de uso, problemas de ventilación y contaminación por componentes volátiles orgánicos (VOC).

� Estudio de confort visual por iluminación natural y artificial, detectando problemas de encandilamiento, contrastes, sub-iluminación, entre otros.

NEW TECHNOLOGIES FOR RENEWABLE ENERGY SYSTEMS ARQUITECTURA VERDE

Preliminary Solar thermal design for domestic hot water, demand calculation and building integration design. Calculation and preliminary design for photovoltaic solar systems such as Stand Alone and/or grid connected. System integration to others active systems of renewable energy. architecture integration design on facades, roofs and solar control elements. Green Roof technical assessment and design. Assessment on Heating and cooling technologies for use of biomass boiler, condensation boiler, ground source and air heat pumps, adsorption chillers, and ground source controlled ventilation.

Prediseño de Sistemas Solar Térmico para Agua Caliente Sanitaria, estimación de demanda e integración a las edificaciones. Cálculo y prediseño de sistema solar Fotovoltaico autónomo y/o conectado a Red. Integración de sistemas de generación energías renovables a la arquitectura como fachadas, cubiertas y protecciones solares. Diseño y asesoría técnica en cubiertas vegetales (techos verdes) para edificaciones. Asesoría en sistemas de Calefacción: Refrigeración por medio de bombas de calor, calderas a biomasa, calderas de condensación, chillers de absorción y ventilación geotérmica.

We have LEED accredited professional, to facilitate the certification process trough the building design.		Trabajamos con alianzas especialistas en certificación LEED , para lo cual facilitamos el proceso de diseño y la tramitación de la certificación. Hacemos el análisis de la iluminación natural como Day Ligth Factor para cumplimiento de la certificación.
